Will someone please explain the difference between forums and blogs, and those who claim they can earn income?

I have opened up a new site called SpecialHomeProducts.com, and am now being INUNDATED with all kinds of offers from every direction regarding ways to MARKET this site…everything from selling eBooks, to reselling other’s products, to posting articles on directories and to forums! Can anyone explain what methods are scams and which are not in these areas? For instance, right now, there is a VERY Big following for one called Get Google Ads Free.com, which claims Google Adwords can be used with their "secrets" if you buy their ebook and follow their instructions, and you won’t have to pay the usual pay-per-click rate if you follow their 128 page ebook of how to do so. (You have to pay up front just to get the ebook, first, of course!)
How do we know who to trust, and who not to? And on forums…are they strictly just designed to discuss topics on the net, or can one make money using them to promote a site? Same thing with article directories…are they just for articles, or promos?

Making Money in Article Marketing Explained for Newbie

To learn more visit freelancewriterreview.com Writing Good Articles Let’s start with one simple concept: you don’t have to be a great writer to write a great article. It’s true. But good writers are always good readers. Writing a good, even great article is actually quite simple, and I’m going to show you exactly how! There are some basic components that all articles should contain: 1. Headline — This is what will get the reader to want to click on your article and read it so it has to be compelling. Observe the headlines of gossip magazines like Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Peoples’ and more. 2. Introduction — tell the audience what you are going to write about and what is it about for them. The first few sentances is crucial if they continue reading your article. 3. Body — tell them the story, the answers of What, How and Why is very important into your article and the last is what it is you or the readers. Using bullets in your article makes it easier to your readers to remember certain points. So research is very important inwriting your article especially if your not familiar with your topic. 4. Conclusion — Summarize a bit and tell them what it is to you and the call to action. It really is that simple. Of course, there are some secrets we have to share that will make your articles a little bit easier to read and write, but the formula given above is one to stick to. Ideally, an article will run between 300 and 500 words. However, know that when you have done

Why can't I get my Blogger blogs indexed in Google? They have PR & I've done good SEO, but still no SERPs.

BTW, they’re over a year old, I do have PageRank, and I have done good SEO for the past long while. I ping at pingoat, I’m in Technorati, I’ve been very careful with duplicate content, especially when doing article marketing (only at the best article directories), have created sitemaps and uploaded to Google Webmaster (which show as successfully indexed), and I have shown up in Digg and other good places. So why no SERPs in Google? I’m targeting long-tail keywords too! Not as much competition! I heard that sometimes Blogger points the Meta tags to nofollow & noindex; is that true? I can’t see much in those weird templates…. What’s up?
